Carlos Alberto da Costa AMORIM, born 1964 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Award-winning comic and cartoon artist, illustrator and author. Published in numerous Brazilian newspapers and magazines, illustrates children’s books and has been teaching comics and cartoons since 1994 (Rio de Janeiro-Brazil). 

Born in Stuttgart, southern Germany, in 1969, lives on and around the Baltic Sea and works as a freelance painter and cartoonist.

Camille Besse, born in 1983, grew up in Paris. After studying for seven years, she became a graphic designer and began her career as a cartoonist at Charlie Hebdo. She currently draws for around ten newspapers and magazines, including Causette, Marianne, L’Humanité and Le Pélerin. She also works as a comic artist and animates TV cartoons.

Born in 1965, lives in Bremen and has worked as a freelance illustrator and cartoonist since studying art. Her work has appeared in numerous magazines and in 2023 she won first place in the German Caricature Prize.

Born in 1970, lives and draws in Hamburg and is a judge by profession. He is a member of the Hamburger Strich cartoon collective and publishes in magazines and newspapers.

Born in Damascus in 1963, he studied graphic design and animation in Damascus, Rome and Cairo. He has been a professor since 1993 and was Dean of the IUST at the International University of Damascus from 2006 to 2015, drawing for the newspapers Alwatan and Alraya in Syria. In 2016, he fled to Germany, where he now lives in Dresden. He publishes in the Süddeutsche Zeitung and Almajalla in London. 

Born in Hamburg in 1972, she studied architecture in Berlin, where she still lives today. Her award-winning cartoons are published in newspapers and magazines (Titanic, Das Magazin, neues deutschland, Süddeutsche Zeitung and others).

Born in Mühlheim an der Ruhr in 1952. Lives and works in Mannheim. Animated film author, publications in various magazines, newspapers (including Nebelspalter and Eulenspiegel) and books.

Became known in the 1990s for his political cartoons in strip format with several panels. He became the most reprinted cartoonist in the New York Times. Rall’s drawings have been published in hundreds of publications around the world, including Rolling Stone, Time, Newsweek, Esquire, The Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times. Born in Bielefeld in 1956. Studied history and art, co-founder of taz in Bremen, lived in the USA for over 15 years and has lived in Hamburg since 2006. His cartoons have won numerous awards and have appeared in books and, since 1995, exclusively in stern magazine.

Olaf Schwarzbach, born 1965 in East Berlin, is Cartoonist and author. He draws for Berliner Zeitung, Jungle World, Tip Berlin, N-tv.de and other publications.

MOCK (Volker Kischkel), born in Lobberich on the Lower Rhine. Studied fine arts at the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Brauchschweig. Publications in spiegel-online, Stern, Eulenspiegel, juris-Magazin, patho, Westzeit, among others. Various prizes and awards, including the German Caricature Prize, German Cartoon Prize and German Prize for Political Caricature.

Born in 1972, MANJUL is a renowned Indian cartoonist known for his insightful and satirical artwork. Shuttling between the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and the National Capital Region (NCR) in India, he contributes to various national and international publications as a freelance artist.

Born in Munich in 1965, where he still lives today. He has been working as a freelance illustrator and author for various publishers and agencies since 1995. Published regularly in Nebelspalter, Eulenspiegel, SZ, Südkurier, gmx and others.

Born in 1970, is a political cartoonist and illustrator based between Amsterdam and Berlin. He studied political science in Amsterdam and since 2011 his political cartoons have appeared three times a week in the daily newspaper de Volkskrant, the largest quality newspaper in the Netherlands. His work is also distributed by Courrier International, Cartoon Movement and Cagle.

Damien Glez, born in 1967, is a French-Burkinese press illustrator, columnist, copywriter, teacher, scriptwriter for television series and author of the comic strip »Divine comedy«. For 25 years, he was deputy editor of the satirical weekly Journal du Jeudi. His drawings have won many awards and have been published in several magazines such as Rolling Stone, The Africa report, World policy Journal.

Born in Kabul in 1980, Homeira Qaderi studied and worked as a professor in Iran. As a women’s rights advocate, she advised the Afghan Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. In August 2021, she was among the last to leave Afghanistan. Today, she lives and works as an activist, author, and professor in the USA. 

Mikołaj Pietrzak, a University of Warsaw law graduate, is the Dean of the Warsaw Bar Council and a UN-appointed member of the Board of Trustees for the UN Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture.  As a member of international legal organizations, he specializes in criminal law, human rights, and lustration proceedings. 

Obiageli “Oby” Katryn Ezekwesili, former presidential candidate of Nigeria in the 2019 elections, is an economic policy expert and Senior Economic Advisor at the Africa Economic Development Policy Initiative (AEDPI) and co-founder of the #BringBackOurGirls movement in Nigeria. 
Ezekwesili was Vice President of the World Bank (Africa Region) and former Minister of Education, Minister of Solid Minerals, Chairperson of the Budget Monitoring and Price Intelligence Unit and former Chairperson of the Nigerian Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (NEITI). She is also a founding director of Transparency International.Currently Ezekwesili chairs the board of Women Political Leaders (WPL) in Brussels, emphasizing her commitmen to advancing women in politics globally. 

Yésica Sánchez Maya, a key member of Consorcio para el Diálogo Parlamentario y la Equidad Oaxaca, is a distinguished human rights defender in Oaxaca, Mexico. In recognition of her tireless efforts, she received an honorable mention during the 2020 International Human Rights Day. As a specialist in strategic litigation, Yésica focuses on indigenous rights, social protest issues, and gender-based violence. Since 2008, she has led the Social Movement Construction Program. Her past roles include serving as the President of Liga Mexicana de Derechos Humanos Limeddh-Oaxaca and she has received awards for her human rights leadership.
